India’s first eco-friendly Notebook: HCL ME-40 Series
With decades of pioneering technology and innovations, recently HCL has launched India’s first eco-friendly notebook that is also completely free from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) material and harmful chemicals. HCL ME Series 40 has been launched as another step to provide green revolution in the in the IT hardware industry. This has been done mainly because of the HCL has always been responsible for that corporate which is environmentally responsible and is one of the few companies all over the world that has made official commitment to sustain the vision and mission statement.
Earlier to this HCL had introduced HCL ME-45 series notebook but that has partially contained PVC and due to this reason has not believed to be fully eco-friendly as the newly launched HCL ME-40 series of notebook. This is believed that PVC is not easy to recycle and is therefore 6thought to contain toxic effects.

- “Lock ME” feature that can be used to lock the important data from any unauthorized access or usages, due to this entire data stays safe.

- “Encrypt ME” feature offers user to encrypt their data and prevent unauthorized access.
