Asus reveal Smartphone-tablet combo, the Padfone

Recently Asus has innovated its new Padfone device- it is an Android Phone that slots into the back of tablet. Doing this Asus announces a new product that blends the functionality of both Android tablet and Android Smartphone. The Padfone features an Android Smartphone that docks in the slate-style tablet device.


In this the tablet device offers bigger screen, extended battery and stereo speakers. On the hand the operating system and core is provided by the Smartphone. In this the operating system easily transition seamlessly between the phone and the tablet when phone is inserted. The Padfone’s 10.1 inch tablet is a little more than big screen and battery and recharging the 4.3 inch Smartphone when it is inserted.

In Asus Smartphone-tablet combo data is easily stored in a single pool so that users can access the phone feature on larger screen of tablet as it gets inserted. The present layout automatically adjusts each activity like web browsing, video conferencing and emailing. Moreover these two devices share single SIM card with the tablet that uses phone’s 3G connection this means that single bill. One more thing that- if call comes while the phone is docked then user will have to either user Bluetooth or scramble to undocked to answer the call.
